Set Up Outlook Desktop

Prefer the Outlook desktop app on Windows or Mac? Add your mailbox here. Outlook reads it over IMAP, so it stays perfectly in sync with your webmail and your phone.

Just getting started, or want to use Gmail instead? See the main Email & Gmail guide — this page is only for the Outlook desktop app.

Add Your Account

Open "Add Account"
In Outlook: File → Add Account (Windows), or Outlook menu → Settings → Accounts → + (Mac). Type your full email address (e.g. [email protected]) and continue.
Choose IMAP
If Outlook asks for an account type, pick IMAP (not POP). If it offers to set things up automatically, choose "Set up manually" so you can enter the servers below.
Enter The Servers
Incoming (IMAP): fusion.mxrouting.net, port 993, SSL/TLS.
Outgoing (SMTP): fusion.mxrouting.net, port 587, STARTTLS.
Username = your full email address. Password = your mailbox password.
Finish
Click Connect / Done. Your mailbox appears in Outlook, synced with everything else.
The brand‑new "New Outlook" sometimes hides manual IMAP setup. If you can't find it, switch off "New Outlook" (top‑right toggle) to use Classic Outlook, or use the built‑in Windows Mail / Mac Mail app instead — same servers.

Everything Outlook asks for, in one place — just tap the copy icon next to each line.
